GeJo’s was originally established in 1968 in Trinidad, Colorado by Carl and Angelina Galasso. The restaurant was managed by Angelina’s mother “Granny” Mariano, and named after Carl and Angelina‘s sons Gene and Joe.
In the early 1970’s, the Galasso family expanded to include several locations throughout the Denver Metro area. Now, after 44 years, and six restaurants, the Galasso’s are back - opening “GeJo’s Original” in Centennial, Colorado, which is the original location of GeJo’s IV, established by the Galasso family in 1979.
Now, about the food…we use only the finest and freshest ingredients available. Our recipes were handed down from Granny’s Mom, Nana Cappelucci, and are still prepared from scratch the way she would have done it many years ago in her own kitchen in Italy.
We welcome you to start your meal with an icy cold schooner of beer, one of our famous 18-oz. margaritas, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink from our fully stocked bar. Then move on to the best part… your meal!
Start with Italian egg rolls or fresh cheese sticks. Then enjoy some pasta made with our family’s secret sauce, or have a hand-stretched pizza with the fixings of your choice. We also recommend our made from scratch ravioli. Finally top it all off with some pizza freaks or a piece of Joe's homemade carrot cake for dessert.
